AKKA/LAA (Autortiesību un komunicēšanās konsultāciju aģentūra / Latvijas Autoru apvienība) is Latvia's multi-repertoire collective management organization, established on 4 October 1995 through the merger of two predecessor bodies founded in 1992–1993. Headquartered in Riga, it operates as a non-governmental association and is the authorized CMO in Latvia for musical, literary, dramatic, visual and audiovisual repertoires.
AKKA/LAA administers both performing and mechanical rights on behalf of its members, covering public performance, broadcasting, cable retransmission, reprographic reproduction and online making-available. It represents several thousand Latvian authors and holds reciprocal representation agreements with more than 130 foreign copyright organizations.
The society became a member of CISAC in 1996 and joined GESAC, the European grouping of authors' and composers' societies, in 2005. It licenses music users across Latvia and distributes royalties to domestic and foreign rights holders.
