Eastern Caribbean Collective Organisation for Music Rights (ECCO) Inc. is a non-profit company incorporated in Saint Lucia. It evolved from the Hewanorra Musical Society, the national society for Saint Lucia; the UK's PRS transferred administration of the international repertoire for the Eastern Caribbean to that society with effect from 1 January 2009, at which point the expanded regional entity became ECCO.
ECCO serves nine member territories: Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, British Virgin Islands, Dominica, Grenada, Montserrat, St Kitts & Nevis, Saint Lucia, and St Vincent and the Grenadines. It issues licences for public performance, broadcasting, cable transmission, online, and mobile use, and distributes collected royalties to its writer and publisher members as well as to sound recording producers and performers.
ECCO is a member of CISAC, and through reciprocal agreements with CMOs worldwide it can license virtually the entire global catalogue of copyright music for use within Eastern Caribbean territories.
ECCO is the collective management organisation for authors, composers and music publishers in Saint Lucia, founded in 2009. It licenses the use of musical works, collects the royalties due and distributes them to its members.
