The Music Copyright Society of Chinese Taipei (MÜST) is a non-profit collective management organization established in 1999 by a group of songwriters, music publishers and record-label copyright departments. It received its official certificate from the Taipei District Court in May 1999 and operates under the supervision of Taiwan's Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) pursuant to the Copyright Collective Management Organization Act.
MÜST manages public broadcasting, public performance and public transmission rights for musical works on behalf of its members, who number in the thousands. It is the CISAC-recognized CMO in Taiwan, having been admitted to CISAC in 2005, and it collects on behalf of both domestic creators and foreign rights holders through reciprocal agreements with international sister societies.
Since its founding, MÜST has developed advocacy and cultural programmes, including a music-works archive documenting local creative heritage and an annual international songwriting camp in Taipei developed with CISAC support. The society celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2024.
