The National Center of Intellectual Property (NCIP) is a state institution of the Republic of Belarus, established on 24 September 2001. It serves simultaneously as the national patent/IP office and as the country's collective management organisation for copyright and related rights.
Through its Center for Collective Management, NCIP administers the rights of over 5,800 national members and represents international right holders via dozens of reciprocal agreements with sister societies. It licenses public performance, broadcasting, mechanical reproduction, and online use of musical works, then collects and distributes the resulting royalties.
NCIP holds membership in CISAC and is a co-founder of CRSEA (Confederation of Rightholders' Societies of Europe and Asia).
