SBACEM (Sociedade Brasileira de Autores, Compositores e Escritores de Música) is one of Brazil's oldest collective management organizations for musical copyright, founded on 9 April 1946 in Rio de Janeiro. It is a non-profit civil association created for the moral and material defence of its members — composers, authors and music writers — and for the promotion of Brazilian musical culture.

Brazilian law channels all public-performance collection through ECAD; SBACEM's institutional role is to represent its members in that system, manage affiliations and handle royalty distribution to rights holders.
SBACEM is a member of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC). Through CISAC's network of bilateral reciprocal agreements, royalties generated by its members' works performed abroad are collected by counterpart societies and remitted to Brazil. It also offers member benefits including legal support.
