SESAC (Society of European Stage Authors and Composers) was founded in 1930, as the second oldest performance rights organization in the United States. Currently, SESAC licenses the public performances of more than 1 million tracks, for its 30 000 affiliated songwriters, composers and music publishers. SESAC represents the music on any occasion when music is being publicly performed or broadcasted, especially on TV.
